Staff Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing technology company in London that is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead critical product initiatives from discovery through delivery. This is a senior individual contributor role working directly with executive leadership and engineering to shape high-impact product decisions.

Our client operates with a strong bias toward execution velocity and commercial outcomes. They are looking for someone who owns product bets end-to-end, combines sharp product judgment with hands-on discovery skills, and measures success through business impact rather than output metrics.

This is an office-based position in central London (Chancery Lane area) with four days per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of major product initiatives from early problem exploration through validated direction to launched product and measured outcomes
• Work directly with engineering teams and founders as the accountable product owner, embedded from day one of any initiative
• Frame problems clearly, define hypotheses, and determine the fastest path to actionable signal through user interviews, prototypes, experiments, or rapid iteration
• Translate qualitative and quantitative user signals into clear product direction and drive execution through to completion
• Define success metrics, make informed go/no-go decisions based on available evidence, and take ownership of results
• Build structured learning systems into team operations so insights compound over time
• Elevate product thinking across the organization through coaching, lightweight frameworks, and bringing the team closer to customer needs

What We're Looking For

• Strong track record as a product manager who connects user behavior to business metrics including conversion, retention, and revenue
• Demonstrated fluency across qualitative research methods, behavioral analysis, and experimentation—able to generate high-quality signal quickly and select the right approach for each decision
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, translating insights into clear problem framing and practical trade-offs that make work clearer rather than slower
• Excellent judgment in knowing when sufficient signal exists to move forward confidently under uncertainty
• Experience as a force multiplier who builds repeatable systems for discovery and decision-making that improve team operations beyond individual projects
• Comfort working at high velocity with imperfect information while continuously refining thinking
• Ability to move fluidly across the complete product lifecycle, from deep user research to detailed execution with engineers
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated success with significant autonomy and ownership
