Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling systems to optimize appointment availability and clinical flow across ophthalmology locations
- Coordinate scheduling logistics and maintain provider calendars to maximize clinic efficiency
- Process appointment requests, cancellations, and rescheduling with attention to patient needs and provider requirements
- Maintain accurate scheduling data in electronic health record and scheduling software systems
- Communicate with clinical staff and patients to resolve scheduling conflicts and support continuity of care
- Analyze scheduling patterns and generate reports to identify operational improvements
- Assist with staff scheduling and resource planning as needed to support departmental operations
Qualifications
- Experience with scheduling systems, appointment management, or healthcare administration
- Proficiency with EHR platforms and scheduling software
