Our client is seeking a technically strong finance professional to drive reporting excellence, oversee accounting operations, and partner with stakeholders across Europe during an exciting period of organizational integration and growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with global headquarters requirements
• Oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy
• Identify process gaps and implement scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across European operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and standard operating procedures
• Support the integration of financial systems and processes as the organization continues to evolve and scale

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience
• Technical Expertise: Significant post-qualification experience within a complex, fast-paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting
• System Proficiency: Strong understanding of NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders across different regions and functions
• Adaptability: A proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in an evolving global business environment
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
