Direct Response Copywriter (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Düsseldorf that specializes in e-commerce communication at scale. As a Direct Response Copywriter, you will own the entire newsletter creation process from concept to delivery.

Your daily work includes:

• Writing conversion-focused copy for promotional and editorial newsletters across 30–40 retail brands
• Developing subject lines, body copy, and call-to-action messaging tailored to each brand voice
• Building finished newsletter layouts using a structured design system and adapting visual assets
• Working with AI tools to streamline image editing and content generation
• Submitting completed campaigns directly to clients for approval and deployment
• Reviewing performance data to understand what drives results

This is a full-cycle role. You will not hand off your work mid-process—you see each campaign through from brief to send.

What We're Looking For

• Strong copywriting ability with a focus on clarity and conversion, not just style
• Visual sensibility and willingness to work in design tools (Figma experience is a plus but not required)
• Very fast learner who can master new platforms and workflows quickly
• Comfort using AI tools as part of your creative process
• High ownership mentality—you want to be responsible for the entire deliverable, not just one piece
• Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
• Full-time, on-site availability in Düsseldorf

No formal design education or prior newsletter experience is required. Our talent team is looking for the right combination of aptitude, pace, and motivation. Training will be provided.
