Assistant/Associate Professor Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery

Your Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum in veterinary neurology and neurosurgery courses across the DVM program
• Conduct clinical case management and provide specialized patient care in neurology and neurosurgery
• Design, pursue, and supervise original research in your area of expertise
• Mentor and advise veterinary students, residents, and graduate trainees
• Contribute to departmental and university service, committees, and governance activities
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and clinical programs
• Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations

What You Bring

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Board certification in veterinary neurology and/or neurosurgery, or demonstrated eligibility
• Strong background in clinical practice and hands-on surgical or diagnostic expertise
• Proven research productivity and scholarly activity in your field
• Teaching experience and commitment to veterinary education
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and the veterinary community
• Evidence of professional collaboration and a commitment to academic excellence
