About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the children's entertainment sector. They are seeking a motivated Working Student to support their global licensing operations across the DACH region. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international licensing, working with major entertainment properties and toy industry partnerships across North America and EMEA markets.
This part-time role is based in Düsseldorf and offers exposure to the full lifecycle of licensing projects—from initial partner discussions through contract execution to product development and market launch.
Responsibilities
- Support the licensing team in coordinating relationships with international licensing partners
- Assist with licensing projects across various stages, from initial discussions through to product development and market launch
- Help prepare and maintain licensing profit and loss statements and support creation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Support communication between internal departments (product development, marketing, legal, finance) and external licensing agencies or partners
- Research current trends and developments in the global licensing and entertainment industries and prepare findings for the team
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled student, ideally in Business Administration, Media Management, Communications, or a related field
- Interest in or some exposure to the global toy and entertainment industry
- Basic understanding of commercial concepts and comfort working with Excel and financial reports
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English
- Confident when interacting with external partners
- Proactive, structured, and eager-to-learn personality who enjoys working independently
- Ability to thrive in an international, dynamic environment
- Prior internships or working student experience in licensing, marketing, or business development are a plus but not required
