Sr. Solutions Architect – Travel and Hospitality

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential data and AI platform organization seeking a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in Travel and Hospitality. This is a strategic pre-sales role where you will serve as the primary technical advisor for up to 9 enterprise accounts, guiding transformational data initiatives and driving adoption of advanced analytics and AI solutions.

You will partner closely with account executives to define technical strategy, build champion networks within client organizations, and lead customers through evaluation and implementation of modern data platforms. While supported by hands-on technical resources, you must possess deep technical knowledge and understand how machine learning and AI apply across diverse use cases within the travel and hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical voice for the platform across up to 9 large enterprise accounts in the travel and hospitality industry
• Lead customers on transformational journeys, helping evaluate and adopt data and AI solutions as part of their strategic roadmap
• Implement technical strategies aligned with overall account objectives and business outcomes
• Build and cultivate a movement of technical champions within each account organization
• Align stakeholders around technical strategies and solution architecture
• Provide structured mentorship and guidance to other team members
• Partner with account executives to maximize product adoption and business value

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience working with very large enterprise accounts (typically generating over $1M in annual recurring revenue) within the travel and hospitality sector
• 4+ years working in a pre-sales capacity or directly supporting sales activities
• Strong technical background in big data, data science, and cloud technologies
• Demonstrated ability to drive data-driven business transformation and organizational change
• 3+ years of hands-on design and implementation experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP systems or full lifecycle data science solutions
• Experience maintaining and evolving production data systems to meet complex customer requirements
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
• Travel and hospitality industry knowledge strongly preferred
• Platform-specific certifications are a plus

This role is located in the United States and offers competitive compensation. While candidates in certain preferred locations are encouraged to apply, candidates in other US locations will be considered.
