Sourcing Executive

Vizient is seeking a Sourcing Executive to lead strategic procurement initiatives at our Irving, TX 75062 headquarters. In this full-time role, you'll drive sourcing excellence and vendor management for a national healthcare services leader.

The Opportunity

The Sourcing Executive position offers strategic influence over procurement decisions and supply chain operations at Vizient. You'll combine strategic planning with supplier relationship management, identifying optimization opportunities and building partnerships that strengthen our operations. This role partners with cross-functional teams to align sourcing initiatives with business strategy and organizational objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals and market conditions
• Manage vendor selection, performance evaluation, and long-term relationship development
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement standards
• Conduct market analysis and cost benchmarking to identify savings opportunities
• Oversee RFP processes and maintain supplier performance scorecards
• Collaborate with business units to translate procurement needs into actionable sourcing solutions
• Identify and implement supply chain process improvements and efficiencies

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiations and supplier relationship management
• Proficiency with procurement systems, data analysis, and sourcing methodologies
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
