About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in Australia that is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a part-time position (2 days per week: Wednesdays and Fridays). Our talent team is conducting a search for professionals who excel in customer-facing roles within fast-paced environments.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for wholesale pharmacy partners, handling both inbound and outbound communications via phone and email. You'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences while managing inquiries, resolving complaints, and coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers proactively and responsively, addressing enquiries effectively and promptly with a positive and friendly demeanor
- Act as central point of contact for wholesale clients, clarifying information, assisting with requests, and escalating when necessary
- Display empathy and a solution-centric attitude in resolving complaints with focus on customer retention
- Analyze and resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing customer dissatisfaction
- Review and approve orders, coordinate with suppliers to support timely dispatch of patient medication with meticulous attention to detail
- Document customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions in CRM systems (Zendesk) and spreadsheets
- Manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously with high attention to detail and organizational skills
- Collaborate with internal departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues requiring specialized expertise
- Coordinate between clinical teams, operations, external pharmacies, clinics, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Provide insights from customer interactions to contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information and troubleshooting
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role with proven autonomy, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Extensive experience handling high-volume customer queries and resolutions
- Client service focus with warm telephone manner and ability to ask effective questions using active listening techniques
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels and mediums
- Demonstrated ability to deal with challenging customer interactions using proven de-escalation techniques
- Solutions-focused mindset with flair for conflict resolution and strategic problem-solving
- Proficiency in records management, ensuring accurate and organized documentation of customer interactions and operational processes
- Competent in G-suite
- Experience in a call-centre environment is advantageous but not essential
