SAP Trainer / Lernbegleiter (m/w/d) – S/4HANA FI/CO (freiberuflich)

Overview

We are representing a confidential client in Germany who is undertaking a large-scale SAP transformation project in 2027. Our talent team is seeking an experienced SAP Trainer on a freelance basis to deliver virtual training to finance and controlling teams across the organization. This is a predominantly remote opportunity with occasional travel within Germany.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual training sessions for employees in finance and controlling departments
• Teach core SAP S/4HANA FI/CO processes including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
• Train users on invoicing processes, invoice corrections, partial invoicing, collective invoicing, and advance payment invoicing
• Guide learners through invoice blocks and error resolution procedures
• Provide instruction on payment transaction processes
• Deliver training on cost centers and internal orders
• Teach project costing and variance analysis techniques
• Conduct process-oriented troubleshooting along the service chain
• Facilitate system exercises, live training sessions, and digital office hours
• Contribute to testing activities, development of learning materials, and quality assurance

What We're Looking For

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
• Strong knowledge of Sales and Distribution (SD) billing functionality
• Understanding of service-related order and confirmation processes
• Proven track record delivering end-user training programs
• Excellent German language skills (required for delivery)
• Experience facilitating virtual learning formats and remote training sessions
• Freelance/self-employed status (freiberuflich)
