Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex data analysis projects that generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across healthcare programmes
• Apply advanced statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time-series modelling to healthcare and operational datasets
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract insights from large, complex databases
• Use Python extensively for data wrangling, analysis, modelling, and automation of analytical workflows
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through rigorous analysis of programme data
• Create compelling visualizations and reports that communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences including leadership teams
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into robust analytical solutions
• Influence organizational decision-making through evidence-based recommendations and strategic insight
• Lead analytical projects and ensure timely delivery against agreed objectives
• Support and mentor colleagues to build analytical capability across the organization
• Ensure all analytical outputs meet quality assurance and governance standards
• Drive continuous improvement in analytical methodologies, tools, and best practices

What We're Looking For

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytics-focused role
• Strong expertise in advanced analytics and statistical techniques
• Advanced SQL development skills with experience querying complex databases
• Advanced Python skills, including data wrangling, analysis, and modelling libraries
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting complex datasets
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience presenting complex analytical findings in clear, engaging formats to non-technical audiences
• Experience leading analytical projects, workstreams, or initiatives
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

Desirable (not required):

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and analytical best practice frameworks
• Experience delivering insights within complex programme or transformation environments
