Fraud Strategy Senior Analyst

Based at one of our 2 Locations, you'll develop and execute comprehensive fraud prevention strategies while working across teams to strengthen our defenses.

The Opportunity

Fraud threats evolve constantly, and Vanguard needs a strategic thinker to lead our fraud prevention efforts. This Fraud Strategy Senior Analyst role offers the opportunity to shape how we protect our clients' assets and personal information across multiple business lines. You'll work with data, technology leaders, and compliance professionals to build solutions that reduce fraud risk while enabling seamless client experiences.

What You'll Do

• Develop and refine fraud prevention strategies that address emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Analyze fraud trends, patterns, and root causes using data analytics and investigative techniques
• Lead cross-functional projects that implement fraud mitigation programs across business units
• Design and monitor key fraud metrics and KPIs to track program effectiveness
• Research emerging fraud risks, including identity theft, payment fraud, and account takeover scenarios
• Collaborate with risk management, compliance, and operations teams on strategy execution
• Recommend policy enhancements and control improvements based on findings and industry best practices

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, financial services, or related fields
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and fraud analytics tools
• Deep understanding of fraud typologies, payment systems, or identity management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Project management capabilities and experience leading strategic initiatives
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fraud prevention and anti-money laundering
• Preferred: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Fraud Specialist credential
