Broker Account Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a Broker Account Manager based in London. Our client provides innovative capital solutions to growing businesses, and their broker channel has become a critical growth driver. This is a genuine build role – you'll be scaling a panel of brokers into a sustainable revenue engine, not simply maintaining existing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the broker panel by recruiting new brokers and providing comprehensive training on our client's products and offerings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing brokers, positioning yourself as their first point of contact for relevant opportunities
• Review incoming referrals, conduct financial sense-checks, and provide indicative offers by analyzing business financials
• Own your portfolio end-to-end, converting referral volume into funded deals with a focus on quality and conversion rates
• Represent the organization at industry events and within broker networks to build brand presence and generate new partnerships
• Shape the strategic direction of the broker channel as it continues to scale

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in business lending, ideally within fintech
• At least 2 years working directly with commercial finance brokers, with an established network
• Minimum 1 year analyzing business financials at a working level
• Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM platforms is a bonus
• Commercially sharp with strong numerical literacy and genuine curiosity about the businesses you serve
• Proactive approach – you chase down opportunities, sense-check details, and move deals forward
• Understanding that brokers are partners whose reputations depend on the quality of your service
• Track record of building something, growing a book, or turning relationships into measurable revenue

Exceptional candidates from adjacent areas of business finance who demonstrate the right trajectory will also be considered.

Working Arrangements

This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring 3-4 days per week in the office. Our client offers 25 days annual leave plus public holidays, private healthcare, life insurance, pension contributions, equity participation, generous parental leave, and the flexibility to work abroad for up to 60 days per year.
