Account Executive – Healthcare Marketing Agency

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare marketing agency that specializes in payer marketing for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. Our client is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in a remote capacity within the USA.

This role serves as a critical connection point between the agency and clients, implementing projects that support groundbreaking medical treatments. You'll manage day-to-day client communications, ensure quality control of deliverables, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact on assigned projects within client accounts
• Provide quality control of client deliverables and ensure the highest standards across all materials
• Initiate and align creative brief details across client and internal teams
• Coordinate content planning meetings with key personnel and subject matter experts
• Manage overall delivery of individual client project assignments from start to finish
• Facilitate medical-legal-regulatory review processes to ensure compliance of promotional materials
• Work with project management to develop timelines, communicate milestones, and execute within budget
• Take detailed notes during client interactions and prepare contact reports summarizing next steps
• Contribute to development of client proposals, budgets, and reconciliations
• Monitor budget including direct costs and labor; proactively identify out-of-scope items
• Provide standard and customized status and financial reports to clients at specified intervals

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
• At least one year of experience as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive within advertising, marketing, communications, or related industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Flexibility for possible travel up to 5%
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Medical communications or healthcare industry experience is a plus
• Experience writing SOWs and project briefs preferred but not required
• Ability to identify project red flags and proactively alert team members
