About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Senior Engineering Manager, Growth to join their European operations. Our client is a well-funded platform company serving enterprise customers globally, and they need an experienced engineering leader to drive user acquisition, activation, and revenue growth initiatives.

This is a remote or office-based role available across the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, and potentially other European locations subject to compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex engineering projects focused on driving user acquisition, activation, and revenue growth across self-service and freemium offerings
• Break down initiatives into manageable stages with predictable timelines, making clear trade-offs between speed, experimentation, and long-term scalability
• Partner closely with product and data teams to prioritize high-impact work and maximize business outcomes
• Scale the Growth engineering team by identifying and filling skill gaps, particularly in experimentation, performance, and conversion optimization
• Collaborate with recruiting to attract and retain top talent aligned with a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment
• Monitor team performance proactively, ensuring strong execution and continuous improvement
• Support engineers in delivering measurable impact and developing their careers through ownership of key growth metrics
• Navigate difficult conversations with clarity and empathy, balancing business urgency with technical quality
• Foster a collaborative, high-velocity team culture aligned with company goals

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of proven experience leading multiple engineering teams delivering high-impact, user-facing projects
• Strong ability to operate in fast-paced, experiment-driven environments with clear business metrics
• Experience scaling teams and aligning them to product and revenue goals
• Proven ability to track performance and help team members improve output and impact
• Excellent communication skills, especially in cross-functional environments working with product, data, and design teams
• Relevant engineering background building scalable SaaS products
• Experience with growth, experimentation, or conversion optimization is a strong plus
• Right to work in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, or other European locations (subject to compliance checks)

Pay

This is a full-time employment position (no contract arrangements). The client offers a base salary starting at EUR/GBP/CHF 180,000 depending on location, plus participation in a stock option plan. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave plus local holidays.
