Business Development Associate – Vietnam

We are representing a confidential blockchain security organization in their search for a Business Development Associate based in Vietnam. Our client is a globally recognized leader in Web3 security solutions, serving thousands of enterprise clients across decentralized protocols, smart contracts, and digital asset platforms.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and engage decision-makers including CTOs, Founders, and Heads of Web3/Digital Assets across blockchain protocols, DeFi projects, tokenization platforms, exchanges, and institutional clients
• Drive complete sales cycles from initial outreach and technical discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
• Manage enterprise and institutional sales targeting traditional financial institutions, asset managers, family offices, and technology companies entering the Web3 space
• Collaborate with global security engineering, solutions architecture, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure seamless deal execution and client onboarding
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to drive renewals, service expansions, and additional security subscriptions
• Represent our client at local industry events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings across the Vietnam market

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience in Web3, blockchain security, cybersecurity, SaaS, or institutional fintech
• Strong familiarity with Web3 ecosystems including EVM chains, Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols, DeFi platforms, tokenomics, and smart contract architectures
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals such as penetration testing, code review, and risk assessment methodologies
• Professional working proficiency in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken) for regional collaboration and global client engagement
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas through structured outbound outreach and consultative selling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Highly Valued:

• Proficiency in additional regional languages (Japanese, Korean, or others) for APAC cross-border expansion
• Direct experience selling smart contract audits, penetration testing services, or bug bounty programs
• Understanding of Vietnam's digital asset regulatory and licensing landscape
