Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential client in the utilities sector seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform Consultant to support a major implementation initiative. In this role, you will:
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform
- Develop and maintain integrations between core SAP systems and third-party applications
- Work with SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Integration capabilities
- Build applications and services using Cloud Application Programming Model
- Implement solutions using SAP HANA Cloud, APIs, OData, REST, and SOAP services
- Configure and manage platform destinations, connectivity, authentication, and security components
- Develop and deploy applications using Cloud Foundry environment
- Support application development using SAP Fiori and UI5 where required
- Support data migration, interfaces, and integration activities during the implementation phase
- Troubleshoot integration and application issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with functional, ABAP, and domain-specific technical teams
- Prepare technical specifications and development documentation
- Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production support
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of SAP technical and development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform
- Deep expertise with SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Platform Integration
- Proficiency with Cloud Foundry environment
- Strong understanding of platform destinations and connectivity configuration
- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud
- Solid knowledge of APIs, OData services, REST, and SOAP protocols
- Experience implementing OAuth and authentication mechanisms
- Development experience with Cloud Application Programming Model using Node.js or Java
- Proven experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with external systems
- Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and patterns
- Track record working on SAP implementation projects
- Experience in the Energy or Utilities domain is highly valued
