(Senior) Social Media & Video Editor (m/w/d)

We are representing a confidential digital agency seeking a (Senior) Social Media & Video Editor to join their creative team in Berlin. Our client works at the intersection of strategy, content creation, and social media storytelling for established brands.

This role is perfect for someone who thinks beyond individual posts—you'll develop formats, editorial concepts, and production workflows that genuinely connect with audiences across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop social media formats and editorial concepts aligned with brand strategy, target audiences, and platform-specific logic; manage editorial planning and scheduling
• Provide strategic consultation to clients on evolving their social accounts, bringing fresh ideas and creative direction
• Own community management and publishing for select accounts; continuously refine editorial guidelines and content standards
• Prepare for editorial shoots, take on-set responsibility, conduct interviews, and identify which scenes and assets will perform on social platforms
• Handle editorial video editing in Adobe Premiere, transforming raw footage into platform-optimized social assets; coordinate with internal and external editors during post-production
• Write captions, hooks, and social copy for organic content, plus headlines and text for campaigns and other communication formats

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience in social media, editorial, content, or video—ideally within an agency or production environment
• Strategic and editorial thinking combined with hands-on execution skills
• Strong instinct for social trends, platform mechanics, and relevant content formats
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere; knowledge of additional Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus
• Experience in editorial shoot preparation and on-set coordination
• Confident feel for language, storytelling, and adapting to different brand voices
• Consulting skills: ability to advise clients confidently and articulate your recommendations clearly
• Structured, independent, and reliable work style; capable of managing multiple clients and productions simultaneously
• Excellent German and English language skills
