Telehealth Registered Dietitian (PRN)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential telehealth organization in their search for a Registered Dietitian to provide virtual nutrition counseling on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This fully remote, flexible role allows you to make a meaningful clinical impact while maintaining control over your schedule.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position with low time commitment requirements, ideal for practitioners seeking evening and weekend hours. You'll deliver one-on-one virtual nutrition therapy to patients managing chronic and acute conditions across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for chronic and acute conditions through secure telehealth sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the designated EHR system
• Coordinate care with referring physicians, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients on healthy eating habits, lifestyle modifications, and nutrition-related disease management
• Create and implement targeted nutrition programs for populations managing diabetes, heart disease, or athletic performance goals
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including proper coding and documentation standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in team training or case reviews
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and professional confidentiality standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• Active certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Active multi-state licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) - must maintain current credentials in all assigned states
• Strong preference for licensure in North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, and Texas (candidates with other state licenses will be considered)
• Active professional liability insurance coverage
• Flexible availability including days, evenings/nights, and weekends
• Experience with weight management and cardiometabolic conditions
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Prior telehealth or virtual nutrition counseling experience preferred
• Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, are a plus
• Must pass background check and maintain good standing with applicable state boards
• Must be located in the United States
