About This Opportunity

We are representing an independent creative professional in the music industry based in Magdeburg. Our client is building a personal brand in the German-language rap scene and is looking for a mandatory internship candidate (Pflichtpraktikum) to help develop their social media presence from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with our client to shape how their artist brand appears online. You'll have creative freedom to develop content strategies, produce engaging social media posts, and help build a community around music that speaks to new beginnings, courage, and authentic storytelling.

Responsibilities

Depending on your strengths and interests, you may:

• Develop and execute Instagram content strategies
• Conceptualize and produce Reels, Stories, and carousel posts
• Transform existing video and photo materials into compelling social content
• Monitor social media trends and adapt them meaningfully to the artist brand
• Build and engage with the online community
• Plan editorial calendars and content schedules
• Analyze content performance and derive new creative ideas
• Think strategically about what makes audiences curious, engaged, and eager to discover new music

What We're Looking For

You are a student in media, communications, marketing, journalism, social media, design, or a related field who requires a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) to complete your studies.

Essential skills:

• Strong intuition for Instagram and current content formats
• Creative thinking and willingness to experiment
• Ability to understand and represent a personal brand authentically
• Self-directed and reliable work style
• Eagerness to take ownership and build something from scratch
• Comfortable working directly with a founder/artist in a collaborative environment
• Fluent in German (required for content creation)

Note: This position is suitable only for candidates who must complete a mandatory internship as part of their academic program. The internship is unpaid, as is customary for Pflichtpraktikum positions in Germany.
