About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in the Düsseldorf area that is building a premium platform in the elective private healthcare sector. Our client operates multiple profitable locations across German-speaking markets and is backed by founding physicians alongside an experienced growth investor. This is a genuine business-building opportunity: you will construct the holding structure and central organization from the ground up.

Our talent team is conducting an exclusive search for the Chief Executive Officer who will shape this platform's future and establish it as the market leader in its segment.

Responsibilities

• Build the holding structure and central organization from scratch, including governance frameworks, shared standards, and external partnerships
• Integrate founding locations while preserving their local strengths and establish trusted collaboration with founding physicians
• Develop and execute the growth strategy, including premium positioning, brand architecture, and unified patient journey
• Drive the buy-and-build agenda alongside the CFO, from pipeline development through site integration
• Establish reporting systems, KPI management, and best-practice exchange across all locations
• Build a digital, AI-supported operating model for administration, patient contact, and operational steering
• Develop recruiting, training, and succession planning for medical teams in partnership with the Medical Board
• Foster a high-performance culture grounded in clear ethical positioning

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in healthcare, ideally in elective, privately financed service areas
• Proven track record building a group, holding, or platform from the ground up, or comparable greenfield/carve-out experience
• Experience as CEO or Managing Director in a multi-site business of similar complexity
• Buy-and-build experience spanning target identification, transaction completion, and post-acquisition integration
• Experience collaborating with physician-owned practices or clinics, with the credibility to be accepted as a partner by experienced medical professionals
• Commercial strength in privately financed B2C environments, including performance marketing and conversion management
• Solid understanding of corporate finance and experience in investor-backed growth situations
• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic personality with strong self-motivation and hands-on mentality
• Fluent in German and English, with high willingness to travel during the build-up phase
