Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public-facing APIs and internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, continuously enhancing and optimizing for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on customization and integration requirements for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience goals
• Prioritize tasks based on urgency and business impact in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js
• Direct hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of other cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
• Strong ability to efficiently move from ideation to implementation
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Strategic thinking with a passion for building great user experiences

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes
• Track record of delivering results consistently in fast-paced environments
