Represented by Get A Job.ai

About This Role

We are representing a confidential women's health organization in their search for a Senior Product Designer to drive the design vision for their core patient experience across web and mobile platforms. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, requiring at least three days per week in their NYC office.

As their design team scales from a single founding designer to a multi-person function, you'll bring dedicated capacity and senior craft to patient-facing surfaces. You'll report directly to the VP of Product and partner closely with product and engineering to ship thoughtful, research-backed design that directly impacts patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for the core patient experience across web and mobile app
  • Apply and evolve the existing design system, working from shared patterns as the system matures
  • Partner daily with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, well-considered design solutions
  • Conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to inform design decisions
  • Collaborate with the founding designer to maintain a cohesive product experience across all surfaces
  • Use data and user feedback to drive design decisions and validate solutions
  • Create interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder alignment
  • Help reduce key-person risk by building design capacity beyond a single generalist

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product design experience with demonstrated impact on user experience and business outcomes
  • Experience contributing to and working within a design system, ideally across multiple product surfaces
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Figma
  • Proven prototyping skills and ability to create interactive prototypes
  • Experience conducting user research including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and behavioral analysis
  • Comfortable using data and user feedback to inform design decisions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving, early-stage environments
  • Experience mentoring junior designers is a plus
