About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing technology platform in its search for a Finance & Business Operations professional to partner directly with the Marketing organization. This is a strategic finance seat with executive visibility—you'll own the financial architecture behind every marketing investment and build the measurement systems that drive growth decisions.

Our client is a Stockholm-based software company with offices across London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. They operate in a high-velocity, low-ego environment where ownership and speed define the culture.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial operating plan for the Marketing function, including budget allocation, campaign ROI analysis, and investment tradeoffs that balance growth with unit economics discipline
• Build and maintain channel-level unit economics models covering CAC, LTV, and payback at the cohort level to inform where marketing dollars should be deployed
• Create shared reporting infrastructure that gives marketing leadership and finance a single source of truth on performance, eliminating ambiguity in how spend translates to results
• Connect marketing performance to company-level outcomes by analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and channel performance
• Partner with Marketing to design experiments, set success metrics, and forecast impact on growth targets and profitability
• Leverage AI tools and automation to replace manual processes and accelerate the time between question and insight
• Provide repeatable reporting on performance versus targets, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of relevant experience supporting Marketing leadership or growth functions in a finance or strategy capacity
• Foundation in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting combined with operational experience at a high-growth startup, AI company, or scaled technology platform
• Deep understanding of growth marketing mechanics: you can decompose blended CAC, trace multi-touch attribution, build cohort payback models, and advise on marginal spend allocation
• Expert-level Excel modeling skills with comfort in SQL, BI tools (e.g., HEX), or equivalent data platforms
• Proactive, service-oriented mindset with ownership of operationally complex work and clean cross-functional handoffs
• High-slope learner who thrives in low-structure, fast-moving environments and takes ideas from 0→1 and 1→10
• Experience using AI agents and automation to scale workflows and increase velocity
• Bachelor's degree required; preference for candidates with technical degrees or deep technical exposure
• Based in or willing to relocate to London
