FP&A Analyst – UK

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization in Bristol, UK, seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their growing finance function. This is a hybrid role requiring one day per week on-site in Bristol.

We're looking for a CIMA-qualified accountant (or ACA/ACCA with post-qualification FP&A experience) who brings a builder mindset and enjoys creating scalable financial processes. You'll have full ownership of your remit with real opportunity to shape the role as the business scales.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance indicators and analyze variances, providing clear explanations of trends and unexpected changes
• Produce regular ARR, cost, and metric reports with actionable insights for stakeholders, particularly focused on go-to-market performance
• Own discrete planning and analysis areas along with relevant stakeholder relationships across the organization
• Maintain workforce cost forecasting and analysis
• Assist with the annual budgeting process
• Document and continuously improve FP&A processes
• Leverage Excel, Google Sheets, and FP&A systems to ensure realistic planning and accurate rolling forecasts
• Drive advanced data practices using SQL capabilities and exploring AI/LLM use cases to automate financial analysis

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• CIMA fully qualified accountant, or ACA/ACCA with post-qualification FP&A and commercial finance experience
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
• Self-starter comfortable working autonomously with initiative to spot opportunities
• Hands-on approach with willingness to support across broad priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail with logical thinking and multitasking ability
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities

Desirable:

• SQL capabilities and familiarity with modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt)
• Curiosity to explore AI/LLM use cases for enhancing financial analysis
• Experience in SaaS or recurring revenue business models
• Experience working in organizations that operate internationally
