Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud storage and collaboration technology company seeking Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2027. Our client is a well-established organization serving millions of users worldwide, and they're looking for talented students to join their team for a 12-week internship program.

This is a virtual internship with three possible start dates between late May and early July 2027. You'll work on mission-critical projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain hands-on experience building features that impact real users. Interns also participate in an in-person summit to connect with peers and develop professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Ship a complete high-priority project from start to finish during your 12-week internship
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality
• Participate in rapid prototyping and iterative development with structured feedback
• Focus on user-centric design, emphasizing usability and intuitive interfaces
• Attend tech talks and professional development workshops
• Receive mentorship from team members, a dedicated mentor, and a peer mentor

Potential team placements include product engineering, infrastructure engineering, customer experience technology, mobile engineering, or security engineering. You'll participate in a team matching process based on your interests, strengths, and business needs.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field (physics, mathematics, etc.), graduating Fall/Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
• This must be your final internship before graduation
• Experience writing or shipping software through coursework, personal projects, internships, coding competitions, or research
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar
• Passion for learning, problem-solving, and challenging the status quo
• Available for full-time internship commitment (40 hours per week for 12 weeks) during Summer 2027
• Able to work from your designated primary work location throughout the program (location changes require advance approval and may be restricted)
• Strong durable skills including self-awareness, judgment in complex situations, adaptability, and effective communication
