Senior Berater (w/m/d) – Customer Communication / Output Management

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting firm serving the German insurance and financial services sector. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant (w/m/d) specializing in Customer Communication Management and Output Management. This is a remote-first role based in Würzburg, offering significant autonomy and strategic impact.

Customer Communication Management (CCM) systems serve as the central platform for all client communication processes, handling professional individual and mass communication with large document volumes. The scope includes data integration from upstream systems, content creation and management, and delivery across appropriate output channels.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead planning, coordination, and implementation of output management projects, or directly support overall project directors
• Architecture & Concept Development: Develop CCM architecture concepts and advise on solution selection and subsequent implementation
• Functional Design: Create and review functional concepts for communication modules and templates, including letter template migration
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on communication strategies (omnichannel, individualization, automation); organize and prioritize functional and technical requirements; develop target visions for future-ready CCM solutions
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and present to both technical and business stakeholders, including management level

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Professional experience in the insurance and financial services industry or with solution providers
• Project experience in large-scale initiatives with leadership responsibility for projects or sub-projects
• Deep understanding of digitalization, process optimization, CCM/OPM, and IT architecture
• Confident presence when engaging with functional and IT stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
• Ability to see the big picture beyond immediate project scope
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make complex topics understandable
• Workshop facilitation and moderation competence
• Methodological expertise appropriate to the role (requirement engineering, process modeling, agile project approaches)
• Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally in the DACH region
• Excellent German language skills (required)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Knowledge of adjacent topic areas (enterprise architecture, change management, AI/LLM)
• Experience with regulatory requirements (GDPR, BFSG, ISO 27001)
• Understanding of interface and data integration (API knowledge, XML, JSON, REST)
• Enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools and methods
• Technological curiosity that extends beyond current project work
