Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech platform in a Senior Product Designer search. Our client serves thousands of organizations with a payouts solution used by recipients globally and business teams internally. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across the Americas.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own design for a dedicated product area within a cross-functional squad. You'll report to the Director of Product Design and work alongside product managers and engineers to craft experiences that make complex financial workflows feel intuitive and straightforward.

Responsibilities

• Design rational, elegant interfaces for both end recipients and business dashboard users, balancing pixel-perfection with implementation feasibility
• Own product copy and content within your designs
• Contribute strategically to product vision, planning, and roadmap decisions
• Build and maintain the design system to ensure consistency across the platform
• Document design decisions, constraints, and rationale thoroughly for an asynchronous, international team using tools like Notion and Figma
• Integrate AI tools throughout your workflow for research, prototyping, and iteration
• Conduct user research and usability testing to deeply understand problems before designing solutions
• Design with accessibility and internationalization as core principles
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners while maintaining a high bar for design quality

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of product design experience
• Background at a startup or fast-moving product company
• Portfolio showcasing functional, simple, and delightful user interfaces
• Proven track record building and improving design systems
• Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools in design workflows, including prototyping with platforms like v0, Claude, Cursor, or similar
• Comfort working with ambiguity and conducting independent research to inform decisions
• Experience designing for diverse user bases with accessibility in mind
