About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential B2B marketing agency seeking a Senior Resource Manager to join their operations in the United States. This role will work EST hours to provide coverage for international teams and will play a critical part in optimizing how talent and partners are deployed across global client portfolios.

As the Senior Resource Manager, you'll ensure the right people are on the right projects at the right time, balancing full-time staff and contractor resources to meet delivery needs and operational goals. This is a strategic and hands-on position that requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Resource Planning & Allocation

  • Oversee daily resourcing across multiple client portfolios in partnership with delivery and creative/strategy leadership
  • Lead global portfolio resourcing discussions, facilitating capacity planning and resolving conflicts efficiently
  • Partner with global counterparts to manage cross-regional allocations and ensure balanced workload distribution
  • Monitor utilization, availability, and forecast data to identify trends, gaps, and risks proactively
  • Support business cases for new hires or long-term contractor engagement based on demand forecasting

Contractor Management

  • Oversee all administrative and operational aspects of onboarding, extensions, and offboarding for contingent talent
  • Ensure freelancer usage aligns with commercial targets and hiring policies
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and vendor management standards
  • Track and report on contractor spend and usage patterns for delivery and finance teams

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Maintain high-quality data in resource management systems to ensure accurate reporting on utilization, forecasting, and capacity planning
  • Partner with business systems and finance teams to continuously refine forecasting and time-tracking processes
  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and reporting dashboards within delivery teams
  • Contribute to the evolution of workforce operations by integrating flexible capacity models

People & Partnership

  • Build strong working relationships with delivery directors, client services, creative directors, and finance partners across the region
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to develop consistent and proactive resourcing practices
  • Foster collaboration across regions to create a unified global resourcing culture

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in resourcing, workforce planning, or operations within marketing, digital, or professional services environments
  • Deep understanding of project delivery cycles in creative or B2B marketing contexts
  • Advanced skills in resource planning and operational tools such as Kantata/Mavenlink, Float, 10kft, Smartsheet, and Excel
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance financial efficiency with operational excellence
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders at senior levels
  • Confident operating in complex, matrixed, global environments

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $72,000 - $90,000
