Marketing Assistant (part-time)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential EdTech organization seeking a Marketing Assistant for part-time, remote work across the United States. Our client operates globally with a distributed team and maintains a lean, high-output marketing function that needs operational support to keep pace with modern content demands.

This is a 20-hour-per-week role reporting to the Brand Director. You'll work alongside brand marketers, designers, copywriters, and SEO specialists to ensure published work stays current, small tasks close reliably, and the team's operational systems improve over time.

Responsibilities

• Blog refresh: Collaborate with the SEO/Growth team to update 10–20 published articles monthly using Claude. Refresh facts, tighten structure, publish updated text, and verify formatting, links, images, and copy integrity.
• Small page edits: Execute minor live-page changes (dates, prices, links) using AI-assisted workflows and internal component systems.
• Coordination: Track down assets needed before articles ship—student quotes, image briefs, instructor photos. Follow up with vendors on invoices and upload documents into billing systems.
• Records maintenance: Keep change logs and the team's Jira board accurate and current.
• System building: Identify repeatable tasks, propose cadences, help initiate automations, and maintain them once running.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Hands-on experience with Claude or similar AI tools in a work context; you understand where AI produces errors and how to catch them.
• Junior project-management ability: you juggle multiple small tasks simultaneously, close them without reminders, and prefer building systems over relying on memory.
• A careful eye for detail: you spot incorrect numbers, broken links, and formatting inconsistencies.
• B2+ English proficiency: strong enough to detect AI-generated patterns in published copy and recognize when sentences lose natural flow.
• Comfortable working in GitHub + Claude Code, WordPress, Jira, Figma, and Notion—or prepared to learn them quickly if unfamiliar.

Nice to Have:

• Basic marketing understanding: context for why pages, articles, and funnels exist, how content gets discovered, and awareness of tracking parameters.
• Experience maintaining team tickets, files, or documentation in an organized state.
