Senior FP&A Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology company in their search for a Senior FP&A Analyst. This is a remote position requiring alignment with US Eastern Time. Our client is seeking an experienced finance professional who can independently own forecasting processes and serve as the primary finance partner to department heads and commercial leaders.

This role offers significant visibility and responsibility, including direct presentation of financial insights to non-finance stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update a rolling full-year financial forecast covering income statement and cash flows, from deal closure assumptions through cash burn projections
• Conduct budget versus actual variance analysis and present findings directly to department heads and sales leadership
• Prepare contribution margin reports and inventory efficiency analyses
• Lead sales planning processes, including pipeline analysis, deal tracking, and conversion rate modeling that feeds into enterprise forecasts
• Support the annual budget cycle during peak planning season (October through December)
• Maintain and update enterprise planning models in Anaplan
• Perform advanced Excel modeling for ad hoc financial analysis
• Extract and analyze pipeline data from CRM systems to inform forecast inputs

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Near-native English proficiency with strong presentation skills; you will represent finance to business stakeholders daily
• Senior-level FP&A experience with demonstrated ability to independently own full-year forecasting and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including building complex financial models from scratch
• Experience with Anaplan or similar enterprise planning platforms (familiarity with enterprise-grade tools is essential)
• Confidence presenting financial data and insights to commercial and operational leaders
• Proven remote work experience with fluency in collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
• Previous experience working with US or UK-based organizations strongly preferred

Preferred qualifications:

• Direct Anaplan experience
• Background in healthcare technology, SaaS, or medical device sectors
• Salesforce familiarity
• Experience coordinating annual budget processes
