About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS client in search of an Intermediate Analytics Developer to join their growing data team. Our client operates a modern analytics stack and is building intelligent data products that serve both internal stakeholders and end customers. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data analysis, software development, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing reports that help customers understand workforce metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain data models and pipelines in Google BigQuery, applying partitioning and clustering techniques for performance optimization
- Apply statistical methods to deliver meaningful insights that support data-informed decision-making
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and UX Researchers to complete feature analyses and deliver product insights
- Review data schemas for new features to ensure they support future analytics requirements
- Participate in PR reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot issues across the analytics stack—from data ingestion through warehouse and semantic layers—to resolve data discrepancies
- Integrate AI agent tools within data applications to support automation and surface insights
- Contribute to shared knowledge documentation and stay current on emerging analytics practices
What We're Looking For
- Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on BigQuery and Looker experience
- Python experience for data scripting, engineering, or pipeline development
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and LLMs for code generation, data cleaning, or workflow automation
- Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts as applied to analytics and reporting
- Solid foundation in statistics, including t-tests and linear regression
- Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong product and business sense with understanding of customer needs
- Experience with BigQuery Analytics Hub is a strong plus
- Java knowledge is a strong plus
