Customer Success Manager – German Market (Berlin)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology client seeking their first dedicated Customer Success Manager for the German market. Our client is a fast-growing European SaaS platform backed by top-tier investors, and they're expanding from a proven Italian base into Germany. This is a ground-floor opportunity to own the entire German customer portfolio and build the market from scratch.

You will be the single point of contact for German customers, driving retention, growth, and customer satisfaction across the full lifecycle—from onboarding through renewal and expansion.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete German customer portfolio end-to-end, from handover through renewal, with primary focus on retention and account growth
• Run a proactive, commercially-minded customer success motion—initiating outreach, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving upsell and uplift
• Serve as the single point of contact for German customers across onboarding, product guidance, support requests, and feedback collection
• Adapt proven playbooks from the Italian market to Germany, localizing strategies and tactics for the German customer base
• Build dashboards, monitor KPIs, and report on portfolio health and growth metrics
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams, feeding back customer insights and market intelligence

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Customer Success or account management, ideally within SaaS, technology, or software companies
• Exposure to legal or professional services customers is a strong plus
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in every customer interaction
• CRM proficiency; experience managing a portfolio in a CRM system (HubSpot experience is a plus)
• Comfort operating in fast-moving environments and handling hands-on operational tasks while scaling a market
• Native-level German and fluent English required
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate to Berlin
• Direct sales experience is a plus but not required

Pay

Annual salary range of €65,000 to €75,000, plus equity package. The role includes performance bonuses, hybrid work flexibility (three days per week in the Berlin office), and team retreats. Full-time employment.
