Clean Energy Research Engineer (100 % remote) (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential venture-building organization backed by accomplished European entrepreneurs. Our client is launching a new clean energy initiative and needs an exceptional research engineer who thrives in 0-to-1 environments. This is a 100% remote role with maximum autonomy and equity upside.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute core research and development initiatives in clean energy domains
• Translate strategic vision into concrete execution roadmaps and drive rapid implementation from prototype to production
• Architect scalable technical solutions and establish critical technical infrastructure
• Drive key technical milestones to position the initiative for growth and institutional backing
• Work directly with department leadership and cross-functional teams including engineers, researchers, and commercial leaders

What We're Looking For

• Based in Europe or the Americas (or willing to work in compatible time zones remotely)
• High-agency builder mindset with proven domain expertise in clean energy, renewable technologies, or related engineering fields
• Demonstrated ability to take extreme end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives
• Track record of building from zero to one in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work autonomously without corporate structure or multiple approval layers
