People Associate (internship)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthtech organization in Paris, France, seeking a People Associate intern to join their HR operations team. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of people operations, from onboarding through learning and development, while working with cutting-edge automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-boarding and onboarding operations end-to-end, ensuring new employees experience smooth, well-supported first weeks
• Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day HR requests, gaining hands-on experience with fundamental people operations
• Shadow and gradually take ownership of individual employee situations, learning to guide managers through sensitive conversations
• Coordinate and continuously improve training programmes for managers and team leads, measuring impact and iterating based on data
• Identify manual processes and build automations using AI tools to increase efficiency
• Track key people metrics, transform them into actionable insights, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
• Create and maintain clear documentation enabling employee self-service and manager autonomy

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in human resources, people operations, and employee experience
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Clear, empathetic communicator comfortable engaging with employees at all levels
• Data-curious mindset with ability to translate metrics into insights
• Proactive problem-solver who spots inefficiencies and takes initiative to fix them
• Comfortable working with automation and AI tools
• Strong written skills for documentation and process creation
• Fluency in English and French required
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program
