Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI infrastructure company in their search for a Forward Deployed Engineer. In this role, you will partner directly with enterprise customers to design, implement, and scale AI-powered workflow solutions that solve complex operational challenges.

You will embed with strategic enterprise accounts to deliver custom technical implementations that drive measurable business outcomes. Working closely with deployment and sales teams, you will own the technical architecture and engineering required to bring sophisticated AI solutions to production.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading architectural design decisions for secure, scalable enterprise AI solutions aligned to customer systems and platform best practices
• Configuring and extending workflow automation components into production systems that route work across rules, AI, humans, and existing enterprise tools
• Delivering end-to-end production solutions spanning data integration, AI system configuration, user interfaces, and audit-ready traceability
• Building AI-powered automations that resolve operational work, with human oversight where complexity or risk requires it
• Embedding with customer teams from frontline operators to executives to understand problems and demonstrate measurable results
• Collaborating cross-functionally with deployment, sales, and product teams to ensure seamless journeys from pre-sales through production
• Contributing reusable frameworks and deployment patterns while channeling field feedback into the product roadmap

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, AI system design, or solutions engineering
• Strong full-stack engineering background with proficiency in TypeScript/NodeJS and Python, plus SQL
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy production-grade applications combining data pipelines, AI/ML, and user-facing interfaces
• Hands-on experience integrating AI APIs (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) into production applications
• Proven track record delivering technical solutions in enterprise environments that drove measurable business outcomes
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders from engineers to C-level executives
• Based in the United States with professional working proficiency in English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience deploying data or AI/ML products into production at enterprise accounts
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration engines, rules-driven execution, event-driven systems, or agent frameworks
• Experience building enterprise integrations including APIs, webhooks, authentication/authorization, data synchronization, and auditability
• Domain experience in customer service operations, supply chain, or other high-volume business process operations
• Secure software development practices aligned with SOC 2 Type II or similar standards
• Prior startup, early-stage company, or top-tier consultancy experience

This is a remote position within the United States. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
