Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential computer vision and manufacturing technology client seeking an AI Onboarding Engineer in Berlin. This is a hybrid role focused on ensuring customer success through structured implementation and quality assurance processes.

You will own the onboarding lifecycle for new deployments, working at the intersection of technical systems, data quality, and customer outcomes. This role requires a metrics-driven approach to execution, continuous process improvement, and clear stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding outcomes against defined success metrics and customer KPIs including quality, reliability, and time-to-value
• Execute initial onboarding cycles using internal tooling, then iterate to improve quality as new data and edge cases emerge
• Validate input data quality and flag issues early, including camera positioning, occlusion, anonymization requirements, variance, and missing detections
• Detect and document edge cases and process variance; maintain a diverse and up-to-date dataset
• Communicate progress, metrics movement, and blockers clearly to stakeholders with concrete next steps
• Drive continuous improvement of the onboarding process through checklists, documentation, templates, and tooling enhancement recommendations based on real usage
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure camera setups support reliable onboarding and cross-station consistency

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in a structured execution role such as implementation, QA, solutions engineering, operations/industrial engineering, or data operations
• Metrics-minded approach: able to define success criteria, track performance, and drive iteration until improvement is achieved
• Detail-oriented and reliable with process execution, maintaining documentation hygiene and ensuring no steps are skipped
• Fast, concise communicator who escalates early and clearly when blockers arise
• Strong ownership mindset: you drive onboarding to completion and continue improving outcomes post go-live
• Comfortable reasoning about technical systems and inputs (deep ML expertise not required, but ability to troubleshoot symptoms and data quality issues)
• Manufacturing or process engineering exposure is a strong plus
