Senior Manager Global Price & Discount Strategy (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential subscription commerce organization seeking a Senior Manager Global Price & Discount Strategy to join their Berlin-based team. In this role, you will shape pricing and discount strategy across a diverse portfolio of consumer brands operating in multiple international markets.

You will own the strategy and execution of global roadmaps for customer retention incentives and referral programs, partnering closely with market leadership, technology teams, and marketing functions. This is a unique opportunity to combine analytical depth, strategic thinking, and cross-functional execution at scale.

• Develop and optimize global referral incentive strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and market conditions while translating high-level strategy into actionable initiatives
• Lead incentive strategy and impact modeling for loyalty programs and churn prevention initiatives, driving measurable performance improvements
• Own the complete A/B testing lifecycle from hypothesis generation through execution to post-test analysis, continuously refining incentive models based on data
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify optimization opportunities that increase customer lifetime value while balancing revenue growth and profitability
• Partner with and influence senior leadership across lifecycle marketing, product, and analytics teams in setting strategic roadmaps and driving impactful decisions
• Establish best practices and playbooks to ensure consistent, scalable approaches to pricing and discount initiatives across all markets

Please note this is a 24-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for conversion to a permanent position.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field
• 4-6 years of professional experience in pricing strategy, consulting, analytics, or subscription-based business models
• Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights; SQL knowledge is a plus
• Extensive experience designing and measuring discount strategy effectiveness, including A/B testing, with proven results in data-rich business environments
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead effective meetings and presentations with senior management
• Demonstrated track record of end-to-end project ownership in fast-paced environments
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure analytical accuracy
