(Senior) Machine Learning Engineer – Pricing (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Pricing team. This role focuses on moving beyond experimentation to deliver production-grade machine learning systems that drive real business outcomes in dynamic pricing operations.

You will work at the intersection of ML engineering and pricing strategy, building and maintaining systems that power pricing decisions at scale. This position involves close collaboration with data science, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to establish robust technical foundations for pricing capabilities.

Location: Remote within Germany or hybrid in Düsseldorf

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of ML models from development through deployment and monitoring in production environments
• Operationalize machine learning models with stability and maintainability, addressing common production pitfalls
• Support and implement training workflows within Snowflake-based environments, ensuring smooth integration across the ML lifecycle
• Build and enhance applications and services for dynamic pricing systems on Snowflake, enabling ML-driven pricing logic
• Maintain systems thinking across complex landscapes, understanding dependencies and integrating ML components into existing ecosystems
• Translate business and analytical requirements into technical solutions, bridging stakeholder needs with engineering execution
• Monitor model performance, drift detection, training-serving skew, and versioning processes

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on MLOps experience productionizing and operating machine learning models in live systems
• Production-quality Python engineering skills with confidence in software architecture and testing, including scikit-learn pipelines
• Experience across the complete ML lifecycle: training, feature engineering, evaluation, monitoring, drift detection, and model versioning
• Practical experience with Snowflake or comparable data platforms in ML-intensive use cases
• Ability to navigate complex system landscapes and thoughtfully integrate ML components across applications and infrastructure
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, working effectively across teams
• Ownership mindset with structured, self-driven approach from project start to finish
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker
• Fluent professional English
• Nice to have: Domain knowledge in dynamic pricing, price optimization, or pricing experimentation
