Leitung Qualitätsmanagement / Qualitätswesen (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential industrial manufacturing organization near Würzburg. This leadership role oversees quality management and quality assurance across two German sites, leading a small dedicated team.

In this position, you will:

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the quality function
• Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the quality management system
• Maintain and advance requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Plan, prepare, and conduct internal audits while supporting external audits
• Manage certifications and associated documentation
• Develop processes, procedures, and work instructions
• Coordinate and monitor product and process quality
• Collaborate closely with production, development, purchasing, and other departments
• Advise departments on quality-relevant matters

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree, technical diploma, or comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001
• Experience with internal and external audits
• Leadership experience preferred, or demonstrated motivation and personality for stepping into a management role
• Technical understanding with a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to pragmatically advance quality initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Excellent German (written and spoken) and good English

Location: Würzburg area
Hours: 37.5-hour work week, 30 days holiday
Flexibility: Flexible working hours with one day per week home office option
Contract: Permanent, unlimited position
