About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential client in the communications technology sector, and our talent team is seeking a Project Leader for R&D Naval Communication Systems based in Kiel, Germany. This is a permanent position where you'll lead the organizational and technical aspects of developing advanced communication systems for maritime applications. Responsibilities
- Take organizational responsibility within a project team for the further development and customer-specific adaptation of communication systems
- Work closely with the overall project manager as technical project lead and coordinate product development activities
- Maintain oversight of time, costs, and quality from project organization through to production handover and customer acceptance
- Build and manage project structures, steering the project team in a goal-oriented manner
- Create work packages and coordinate implementation with application segments, manufacturing, service teams, and external development partners as needed
- Prepare project progress reports and key performance indicators for management, ensuring transparent reporting
What We're Looking For
- Completed engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
- Proven track record of successfully leading development projects
- Experience managing complex systems projects with a strong understanding of technical interdependencies
- Ability to maintain overview and find effective solutions in demanding technical and organizational environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with confident, reliable communication and willingness to take leadership responsibility
- Excellent German and English language skills for communication in an international environment
