Overview
We are representing a confidential client in the construction technology sector who is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their growing sales organization. Our client has developed innovative cloud-based solutions that serve the architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management industries. This is a remote position based in the United States with travel as needed to customer sites (under 50%).
In this role, you'll own a regional territory and be responsible for new business acquisition as well as expansion within existing accounts. You'll work closely with a global sales team while reporting to the VP of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to build pipeline and win new business opportunities
- Work from your virtual office to engage prospects and customers across your assigned region
- Network within your territory and travel to customer sites as needed
- Develop deep product knowledge and communicate technical value propositions to diverse audiences
- Manage accurate account and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM
- Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to leadership
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Build repeat business through consultative, customer-focused selling approach
- Collaborate cross-functionally with BDR, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of successful B2B software sales experience, preferably in architectural design, construction, facility management, or related technology sectors
- Proven ability to develop and manage sales pipeline and accurate forecasting
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted customer relationships
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Data-driven approach with ability to distinguish actionable insights from noise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and professional development
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience at a high-growth startup is a plus
