Azure Cloud Architect (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud solutions organization seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join their team in Hamburg. Our client specializes in designing and implementing advanced Azure-based solutions using PaaS, IaaS, and container services. They work with prominent enterprise clients across multiple industries, delivering cloud migrations, security solutions, and transformation projects using agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

This role offers the opportunity to work on both greenfield and brownfield projects, translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced cloud solutions on the Azure platform
• Lead architecture decisions on both greenfield and brownfield cloud projects
• Apply DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code practices throughout project lifecycles
• Provide expert consultation to clients on Azure services, architecture patterns, security, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in projects from pre-sales phase through successful implementation
• Lead technical meetings and present progress updates to clients in clear, understandable terms
• Ensure project deliverables meet security, performance, and operational requirements

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in architecture design with Azure PaaS, IaaS, and container services
• Proven ability to translate customer business requirements into technical architectures
• Track record of advising clients on Azure services regarding functionality, security, scaling, and uptime
• Strong expertise with Azure DevOps, automated pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Proactive approach to participating in development processes
• Capability to lead technical meetings and present complex concepts effectively
• Fluent German language skills required
• Professional English communication skills
