About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in München that operates a modern, cloud-based platform combining access control and time tracking systems. Our client is seeking a working student to shape user experience, onboarding concepts, and AI-supported knowledge management for their browser-based SaaS solution.

In this role, you'll bridge UX thinking, user research, and artificial intelligence deployment in a real product environment. You'll analyze actual user behavior, build intelligent wizards and self-service features, and create smart guidance tools that simplify complex workflows for end users.

Responsibilities

• Conduct usability testing and user journey analysis to identify optimization opportunities based on genuine user feedback
• Integrate modern, AI-supported user guidance approaches such as intelligent chatbots, interactive product tours, in-app help systems, and checklists
• Support the development of a modern knowledge platform with sustainable AI-driven knowledge structures
• Create documentation, tutorials, and help content for service functions using AI assistance, tailored to target audiences
• Structure your ideas and content in GitHub, capture them in the ticketing system, and help transfer them into the development roadmap and backlog
• Drive continuous improvement through real user insights and data-driven UX decisions

What We're Looking For

• Currently studying UX/Interaction Design, Media Informatics, Computational Linguistics, (Business) Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Communication Design, or a comparable field
• Strong affinity for modern UX/UI concepts, accessibility, and user-centered design—ideally supplemented by practical experience from internships, projects, or previous working student positions
• Understanding of AI integration possibilities in digital products and proactive use of AI in your own workflow
• Customer-centric product understanding gained through practical experience or studies; ability to think user-guidance solutions consistently from the user's perspective
• Fluent German communication skills (C1/C2) and good English proficiency for technical documentation and user content creation
• Structured, independent working style with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Clear communication skills, willingness to question existing solutions, and initiative to advance topics independently
• Strong awareness of information security with readiness to support ISO 27001 compliance
