Global C&I Curriculum Design Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a global nonprofit organization focused on workforce development and economic mobility. Our talent team is recruiting for a Global C&I Curriculum Design Consultant position based in Colombia. This is a contract-based role working remotely with an international team dedicated to creating transformative learning experiences for adults entering new career pathways.

As a curriculum design consultant, you will collaborate with global curriculum leads, design managers, program teams, and technical experts to develop practice-based training content. Your work will include designing simulations, role plays, case studies, and sessions that integrate technical skills with behavioral competencies—all delivered through active learning methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design active, practice-based learning experiences for bootcamp training sessions (simulations, role plays, field experiences)
• Develop comprehensive session materials including scripted facilitator guides, student handouts, and instructor debrief guides that enable effective delivery at scale
• Create content for both in-person and online contexts across multiple sectors such as technology and healthcare
• Collaborate with employer partners and technical training experts to gather feedback and iterate on lesson designs
• Upload and modify content within Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Track project progress and meet deliverable timelines

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in instructional design or education curriculum design preferred
• Minimum 2 years of curriculum design experience
• Proven experience planning and scripting objective-driven lessons
• Strong background developing active, practice-based learning experiences (not lecture-based formats)
• Comfort using collaborative technology tools (Google Docs, Zoom, etc.)
• Professional English communication skills required
• Consistent, reliable internet access

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing instructional content for at-risk or underrepresented communities
• Background teaching or designing materials for young adults (18-29) or adults reentering the workforce
• Experience with online or blended learning program design
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
• Fluency in Spanish, French, Thai, Portuguese, or Italian highly valued

Before each project begins, contractors are contacted to confirm availability.
