Senior AI Engineer – Multi-Agent Frameworks

We are representing a confidential AI-native technology company seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in Multi-Agent Frameworks. Our client is building next-generation intelligent systems that leverage collaborative agent architectures and cutting-edge LLM orchestration. This is a backend-focused role for an engineer passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with autonomous and coordinated AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust platform enabling users to create and manage AI agents and their interactions
• Integrate and orchestrate multiple LLMs, ensuring seamless scalability for both individual and coordinated agent operations
• Leverage orchestration frameworks like LangGraph to build complex workflows and pipelines supporting diverse agent functionalities, including multi-agent coordination
• Develop and implement evaluation frameworks for testing AI agents in challenging scenarios, focusing on individual performance and system-level dynamics
• Stay current with AI advancements and incorporate the latest research into platform capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Address AI privacy scenarios, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and best practices
• Contribute to search capabilities and their integration into the AI platform

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working with multiple LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.) and understanding their strengths and limitations
• Expertise in orchestration software like LangGraph or similar frameworks for building and managing agent workflows
• Strong background developing evaluation frameworks for AI systems, particularly in complex testing environments
• Deep understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals with a focus on backend engineering
• Experience building or deploying Multi-Agent Frameworks or Multi-Agent Systems
• Passion for staying updated with the latest developments in AI and applying them to agent technologies
• Experience with challenging AI privacy scenarios including data anonymization, secure data handling, and compliance
• Experience with search technologies and their integration into AI systems
