About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential consulting firm specializing in advanced analytics and AI solutions for enterprise clients. We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a specialized practice focused on marketing optimization and strategic business intelligence projects for a major French industrial organization.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact marketing analytics initiatives, developing sophisticated models that drive multi-million euro investment decisions across diverse marketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) solutions analyzing large-scale marketing data across TV, digital, social media, and brand experience channels to measure investment impact on sales and brand valuation
• Deliver production-grade models at scale across strategic markets, navigating complex and heterogeneous data environments
• Calculate and monitor key performance indicators including Return on Spend (ROS) and Return on Investment (ROI) by channel and brand
• Collaborate directly with marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations for optimal budget allocation
• Contribute to codebase evolution and support future data migration initiatives
• Participate in emerging generative AI projects applied to marketing content creation

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university; PhD appreciated
• Proven experience in Data Science applied to business problems, ideally in marketing, pricing, or budget allocation
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with cloud environments: Azure, Databricks, Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with PySpark for data preparation
• Familiarity with development tools: Git (Azure DevOps), AzureML, Streamlit, Postman
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Excellent collaborative skills with business stakeholders and ability to communicate technical results clearly
• Analytical mindset, rigor, and appetite for intellectual challenge
• French language proficiency required for this Paris-based role
