About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential maritime technology organization based in Hamburg. They're seeking a skilled Full-stack Software Developer to join their Applications team, working on mission-critical systems that collect and manage sensor data from commercial vessels worldwide. You'll be a key technical resource for both internal colleagues and field teams, building and maintaining the core software platform that powers their global operations.
Responsibilities
- Own the full development lifecycle of an internal software engineering platform used across the organization—from gathering requirements through design, implementation, testing, and production rollout
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into reliable, scalable features
- Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve bugs in production systems that serve company-wide users
- Serve as a technical point of contact for colleagues and field technicians when systems require support
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Take ownership of code quality, system reliability, and long-term maintainability
What We're Looking For
- Currently based in Hamburg, Germany, or elsewhere in Germany with willingness to relocate to Hamburg
- University degree in computer engineering or related field, and/or equivalent professional experience
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience with.NET and C#
- Proven track record building scalable, maintainable solutions
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins, and version control systems like Git or SVN
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to technical challenges
- Excellent communication abilities—you can effectively explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality
- Fluent German (C1 level) and good working English
