Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential investment firm seeking an intern or working student to support their M&A and investment activities. In this role, you will:
- Identify and analyze potential acquisition targets, including market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to support decision-making
- Prepare for and support due diligence processes across multiple transactions
- Create analytical reports, investment committee presentations, and decision documents for management and investors
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout transaction processes
- Work directly with management on strategic questions and initiatives
- Manage your own project workstreams and serve as a point of contact for assigned topics
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or approaching Bachelor's completion with excellent grades
- Prior practical experience in M&A, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or comparable areas
- Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Independent, structured working style with attention to detail
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work as an intern or working student in Berlin
