Senior Product Manager – Outbound Logistics & Returns (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization based in Berlin that is scaling its fulfillment operations across multiple warehouses and markets. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own and shape the systems that power outbound logistics and returns—from order placement through delivery and back.

This is a strategic role focused on automation, scalability, and operational efficiency. You'll design the product logic for distributed fulfillment, reduce manual intervention, and optimize cost per parcel through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete order-to-delivery and returns journey, including shop systems, ERP/OMS, WMS, and carrier integrations with tracking updates
• Design product logic for automated warehouse allocation and order routing across multiple fulfillment locations
• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities to improve time-to-ship and reduce operational costs
• Drive measurable outcomes using KPIs, dashboards, and operational data to identify problems and set priorities
• Validate product opportunities through hypothesis-driven discovery and experimentation before committing engineering resources
• Collaborate with Engineering, Logistics, Operations, and external 3PL and carrier partners to build scalable outbound flows
• Ensure solutions support evolving architecture and maintain platform stability during ongoing replatforming initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience with backend, integration-heavy, or operational products
• Hands-on experience with commerce operations systems including OMS, ERP, WMS, carrier integrations, and API-based partner flows
• Proven track record of automating operational processes and delivering measurable improvements
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with KPIs, dashboards, and operational data
• Ability to navigate complex dependencies and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English required; German is a plus
• Experience with multi-warehouse fulfillment, international shipping, EDI, or both D2C and B2B/retail order flows is advantageous
