Head of Product Transformation / Consultant·e en Organisation Produit H/F

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital transformation consultancy seeking a Head of Product Transformation to lead enterprise client engagements in Paris. In this role, you will guide large organizations through their evolution toward product-centric operating models.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading maturity audits of client product strategy and technology organizations, including assessment of AI integration and value chain impact
• Defining target operating models covering product team structure, governance, processes, and funding mechanisms to ensure scalability and effectiveness
• Driving hands-on deployment of product transformations and managing cross-functional workstreams that enable organizational transition
• Serving as a strategic sparring partner to senior client stakeholders throughout multi-phase transformation initiatives
• Coaching product teams to elevate their maturity through sustainable best practices and frameworks
• Maintaining sector and methodology expertise, particularly regarding AI-era operating model evolution, and sharing insights internally
• Depending on seniority and interest, managing consulting teams and supporting professional development of colleagues
• Contributing to business development through pre-sales activities and external thought leadership

What We're Looking For

Core Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in digital transformation and product management within enterprise organizations
• Mastery of diagnostic techniques including stakeholder interviews, shadowing, and deliverable analysis with strong synthesis capabilities
• Proven ability to design and execute complex operating model changes (squad implementation, OKR deployment, AI/data team structuring)
• Experience facilitating workshops with audiences ranging from operational teams to executive committees

Technical Competencies:

• Deep understanding of AI-related challenges and ability to integrate these dimensions into product strategies and operating models
• Strong written communication skills producing both executive summaries and detailed deliverables
• Mentoring and training experience with consultants at varying maturity levels

Professional Qualities:

• Clear, synthesized communication style with active listening and ability to build client trust
• Assertiveness in defending convictions and managing stakeholder resistance in politically complex environments
• Intellectual curiosity regarding product organization best practices, strategy, change management, and AI impacts
• Pragmatic adaptability across different client contexts
• Fluent English for autonomous work in international settings
• Humility to learn from mistakes and continuously improve
